Treating Candida auris currently requires an intensive class of pharmaceutical antifungals 
called echinocandins. 
These include caspofungin (Merck’s Cancidas), 
anidulafungin (Pfizer’s Eraxis), 
or micafungin (Astellas’ Mycamine). 

If these powerful drugs do not work, the patient may be escalated to treatment with a highly toxic antifungal called amphotericin B.
